New InselAir destination, Charlotte, NC, USA, creates many transfer possibilities with US Airways.
On June 22, 2011 Curacao-based airline InselAir international will start operating the route between Curacao and Charlotte, NC, USA. InselAir has introduced a special introduction fare of $337 (NAF 597). Flights will commence every Wednesday and Saturday departing Curacao at 9:10AM, arriving in Charlotte at 1:25PM and departing Charlotte at 2:25PM and arriving in Curacao at 6:40PM. Due to the interline agreement with US Airways, passengers can get ticketed through on US Airways flights and vice versa, making it possible to connect to 58 US Airway destinations within 2.5 hours of the InselAir arrival and departure time in Charlotte.

Taxi Service
You can arrange Taxi Service from the airport to Flamingo Villa ahead of time. Curaçao Taxi has a large 9-passenger van, a Tahoo SUV, and a Mercedes Benz Sedan. This is helpful if you have a lot of luggage and are worried that not everyone and baggage will fit in your rental car. You can also send one person with the luggage while others go to the grocery store. Cost ~$40 + 10% tip.

"A Huge Piece of Paradise"
First, let me begin by saying that this villa is run by first-rate owners. They worked us into their schedule the night before we left for the island. It was a last minute decision by us to go to Curacao, and Cheryl emailed to me a wonderful packet of information on the island that covered everything from restaurants to sightseeing. I felt that my family was in good hands right from the beginning.
The entire week at the villa, it seemed like we were on an island adventure and coming home each night to our own private vessel at sea. The view makes you feel like you are on a ship with the moon and stars shining on the sea like diamonds.
The villa is so perfect with the three beautiful (air conditioned) bedrooms upstairs and a wonderful breeze that flows through the villa all day. The pool was a wonderful way to end each day watching the sunset. It met our every need and more!

Took full advantage of the deck—11 a.m. til 3 p.m.—perfect sun, dip in the pool, ice cold Polar beer and the IPOD. Finally got a real tan! Centrum grocery store is fantastic shopping for meats, cheese and anything else you could possibly need.
If you like rustic beach settings, the beaches along the coast to Westpunt are for you!
