American Airlines has direct flights daily from Miami (MIA). An early morning connection to Miami can catch a flight leaving at 10:15 a.m., arriving on Curaçao (CUR) at 1:05 p.m.

• Continental Airlines from Newark (EWR), New Jersey on Saturdays (www.continental.com)

Taxi Service
You can arrange Taxi Service from the airport to Flamingo Villa ahead of time. Curaçao Taxi has a large 9-passenger van, a Tahoo SUV, and a Mercedes Benz Sedan. This is helpful if you have a lot of luggage and are worried that not everyone and baggage will fit in your rental car. You can also send one person with the luggage while others go to the grocery store. Cost ~$40 + 10% tip.

Took full advantage of the deck—11 a.m. til 3 p.m.—perfect sun, dip in the pool, ice cold Polar beer and the IPOD. Finally got a real tan! Centrum grocery store is fantastic shopping for meats, cheese and anything else you could possibly need.
If you like rustic beach settings, the beaches along the coast to Westpunt are for you!
